Judy Anne Williams passed away at the age of 70. She was born in Washington NJ to the late William and Frances Williams. She died on December 30, 2022 in her daughter’s arms in Bucks County PA. Originally from Washington NJ, Judy later moved to High Bridge NJ, and raised her family with her former husband Doug Drechsel. For the past ten years she had lived in Holland PA in Bucks County with her only child and surviving daughter Emily Drechsel, and son-in-law Brian Beltz. She immensely loved Emily, and her only granddaughter Charlotte “Cece” Beltz even more. Judy loved hearing about Cece’s daily adventures with swim, yoga, gymnastics, and enjoyed eating her imaginary meals from the pretend kitchen. Judy is also survived by her sisters Wendy Lime of Spring Texas and Beverly Smith Laltrella of Cape Coral Florida, as well as eight nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Warren Hills Regional in 1970, and then graduated with a Hygienist Associate’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She worked forty years as a dental hygienist in various offices, including in Clinton NJ with her best friend Michelle Goldberg.
Judy had a passion for animals, and especially enjoyed bird watching. She loved dogs, cats and horses, and devotedly drove Emily to daily horseback riding lessons for over fifteen years. Her leisure time included bicycling, playing cards, including a Bridge group, and reading books. Judy always encouraged people to pursue their interests, and never complained about her limitations. Despite her long battle with multiple sclerosis, she was resilient and persevered through all shortcomings. She handled these with grace and gratitude. Judy’s legacy is bestowed into the loving empathy she has taught Emily and others. Judy is sorely missed.
