Phyllis E. Rogers, 83, passed away peacefully at her home in Kingston on November 14, 2022 after a brief illness. She was born on November 10, 1939 in Exeter, NH and was a longtime resident of Epping, NH where she was raised by her late grandparents, Walter and Alice Stevens.
Phyllis earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from NH College in Manchester, NH. For over 50 years she was employed at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in Brentwood, where she retired as the Director of Fiscal Services. During her career she was once voted as “Employee of the Year” by the NH Association of Counties. She was a very family oriented person who loved nature and enjoyed many activities including gardening and bird watching. She also loved animals and enjoyed travelling. Some of her favorite destinations included the beach and Disney World.
She is survived her partner of 40 years, Mary Jane Toth of Kingston, NH; her siblings, Constance (& Richard) Devins of Bradford, VT, Robert (& Joan) Illsley of Montpelier, VT, Judith (& Michael) Kimball of Ashland, NH, and Steven (& Laura) Illsley of Epping, NH.
