The NHRA Countdown to the Championship begins at one of the fastest tracks on the circuit. This is the opening event in the six-race NHRA playoffs as championship drivers in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle will look to start their world championship bids with a win at the fan-favorite facility.
New Jersey State Firemen’s Convention

The convention attracts thousands of firefighters and their families throughout New Jersey to the island for equipment displays, meetings, seminars, vendors and a parade. Firetrucks and fire apparatus from around the state will be displayed in the Wildwoods Convention Center parking lots.
