Mary K. (Beckmann) Wood, 79, Barnhart
Mary K. “Kathleen” (Beckmann) Wood, 79, of Barnhart died Sept. 13, 2022, in St. Louis. Mrs. Wood was active in her church. She served numerous charitable organizations and supported charities financially. She loves spending time with her family. She also enjoyed spending time outdoors, gardening, bird watching, sewing and crocheting. She will be remembered for her willingness to make sacrifices for others, especially her family. Born Jan. 2, 1943, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Jessie (McGuire) Beckmann.
She was preceded in death by two husbands: Allen Wille and Cecil Wood.
She is survived by three children: Kris (Dave) Arnzen, Donna Wille and Carl (Dana) Wood; five grandchildren: Jamie Whitaker, Jessie (Jay) McNamara, Jill Schriver, Kirsten Winn and Jack Wood and another on the way; four siblings: Leo (Anita) Beckmann, Joe (Pat) Beckmann, Mary (Bruce) Henderson and Rosemary (the late Richard) Guehne; a brother-in-law: Sonny Cull; and many other family members and friends.
She also was preceded in death by a son: Gregory Wille; and two siblings: Barb Cull and Bob Beckmann.
A visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 19, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept 20m at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4696 Notre Dame Lane, in House Springs. Burial will be in Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery-St. Columbkille in Byrnesville. Memorials may be made to a non-political charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
