They lived in Minneapolis for 20 years where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing degree, graduating in 1993.
Carolyn and Frank returned to Maine in 1995 where she started working at Goold Health. After Frank’s death in 2017, Carolyn retired from the Maine General Medical Center where she worked as a care manager from 1999 – 2018.
Carolyn enjoyed first and foremost gin and tonic, wine, reading, cooking, “Carolyn was a great cook” bird watching, and animals, (especially dogs). Carolyn especially enjoyed spending time with her special friend of 20+ years Edna Brunelle.
