NAPOLEON — Mildred G. Kuta, 95, of Napoleon, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022, at Genecross Lutheran Services.
She was born in Riffle, W.Va., on April 11, 1926, to Perry and Grace Cutlip Sponaugle.
Millie married Andy Kuta on Dec. 22, 1950.
Millie was a member of the Napoleon Church of the Nazarene. She was an avid seashell hunter and collector while living in Florida. Millie enjoyed going to the Henry County Senior Center, doing crafts and having lunch with her friends. She enjoyed bird watching and horses. Millie was known for her big hugs.
She is survived by her children, Denny (Barbara) Bowsher, Kathy (Wayne) Berman and Terry Kuta; grandchildren, Heather, Hallie, Kyle, Theresa and Michael; and great-grandchildren, Emily, Kora, Noelle and Holden.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andy; and all eight of her siblings.
A memorial service will be at noon, with calling hours from 11 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the Borowski Memorial Home, 30 Ridge Road, Newton Falls, Ohio.
Interment will be held in Hawley Cemetery.
