Sally Henderson Jett, 86, of Lebanon, Tenn., died March 12, 2022, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Jett retired from Plum South Co. in Lebanon after a career in manufacturing sales. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, bird watching, walking, sewing, shopping, Neil Diamond, St. Louis Cardinals baseball and spending time with family and friends. Born March 13, 1935, in De Soto, she was the daughter of the late Buford T. and Alice Larkin Henderson. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years: Carl Joseph Jett.
She is survived by three sons: Rod (Claudia) Jett, Doug (GiGi) Jett and Kip (Wendy) Jett; a brother: B.T. (Francine) Henderson; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two daughters: Robin Morphis and Dawn Binkley; two grandchildren: Lesley Ostrander and David Jett; one great-grandchild: Rylan Binkley; three brothers: Ted Henderson, Melvin Henderson and Phillip “Buddy” Henderson; and three sisters: Bonita Reynolds, Myrtle Mahn and Joyce Ann Henderson.
A graveside service was held March 15 at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon, officiated by Brother Mike Shelby. Arrangements were under the direction of Ligon and Bobo Funeral Home in Lebanon.
